TwinSlam!

One of my top rigs the last couple seasons has been a 8" flasher with a 30" leader to
a Super-Glow Blue or Super-Glow Green TWINSLAM spinner.

The 5 inch spinner really works...lots of flash and vibration and it's something the fish
haven't seen.   Run them anywhere you normally run a fly or meat-head!

Hit them hard with a spotlight,UV (Black) or fluorescent light. They Glow for
HOURS!!!   Flash units don't work as well. The sun REALLY charges them- run them
mid-day charged-up on sunlight and hang-on!! They will also glow well into the
night-bite just from the late afternoons setting sun. See lowlight pics below for the

NOTE: TwinSlam spinners need to be run on short, heavy leaders behind an attractor
or with a rudder/sinker to keep twist to a minimum. ALWAYS run with at least 1 quality
ball-bearing swivel.

Rigs that have worked for me:

#1)   TOP RIG!: Dipsy/rigger. 8" Flasher with 17"-60" leader to TwinSlam!
Tag the hook with a 1" slice of herring and hang on!

#2)   Slider. Heavy (20lb+) leader with Swivels on both ends...no line twist.
#3)   Tailgunner. Main line to 4oz keel sinker. 6 foot leader to TwinSlam. Run her
right up the middle sometimes in the prop wash (50'), sometimes 200' out.
#4)   1/2 core. With keel sinker to kill twist. Been whackin steelies with red
beads/silver blades.   Has been awesome.   Steelies love spinners...!
#5)   Riggers. Tight to ball or with small mini-disc/keel (to kill twist) and 4' leader.
